Matisyahu

Matisyahu est un chanteur de reggae américain actif depuis 2001. Né Matthew Paul Miller, Matisyahu a été membre puis a quitté la communauté hassidique Loubavitch dans la section de Crown Heights de Brooklyn à New York. La religion fait partie prenante de sa carrière puisque Matisyahu ne joue en concert ni les vendredi ni les samedi, jour de shabbat. D'un point de vue musical, son style suit les lignes traditionnelles des racines rythmiques rasta combinées avec du son dub. Matisyahu impressionne par son flow de paroles interminable et entraînant.
